Stellar Software Corporation was founded in 1995 by Thomas Krpata. The company is comprised of a team of individuals with extensive corporate IT experience spanning all aspects of problem definition, solution identification, project management and resolution deployment.

Tom brings over 23 years of commercial information technology experience to bear at Stellar. His expertise ranges from executive management, consulting and business development roles to product management and customer service responsibilities. Prior to founding Stellar, Tom was vice president of consulting services for Momentum Software Corporation. As an early member of Horizon Strategies (merged with Momentum), Tom was instrumental in the growth of the middleware industry.

Tom's earlier experience includes being a founder of the national field sales organization of McDATA Corporations, an executive position with Connections Telecommunication and a product manager for BGS Systems. Tom is highly regarded for his technical expertise in many areas including: client/server and distributed applications architectures; operating system environments such as UNIX, OS/400, MVS, and Windows; and network architectures including SNA, TCP/IP, and NetBIOS.

Tom holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Boston University and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy Submarine Service.
